Welcome to the WorldPlay Bridge gathering in Chicago. So far we have more than 100 people who have stated their intention of attending so this should be a great weekend.

When booking at the Marriott please mention WorldPlay in order to get your $99 rate.

Transportation is provided from O'Hare. The fee is $23.00 and a reservation should be made in advance at 800 228 9290 ask for the transportation desk. The vans leave the airport every half hour.

Rates for the hotel should be $99. But when booking please be sure to  mention World Play bridge. If the reservationist does not honour that price please e-mail Logsman or call Allison Schneider at 847 634 0100...she is our contact in the sales office.

After August 1 please send all registration fees to KPfendler - address will be supplied via email - Send $110 per person (including non-players if they propose to eat with the party!) - these fees need to be with KPfendler by September 20 - please.

This will include dinner buffet Friday evening, breakfast and lunch Sat and breakfast Sunday as well as the ACBL director for Friday and Saturday. (See, all those masters points you will earn come with meals).

All meals have been planned to include a vegetarian dish so kosher, vegetarian etc can have good meals with us. All meals are casual and buffet... so mingle and sit with a new group each time. The bar will always be open for soft drinks, coffee, and whatever, whenever you want it.

Logsman took 50 packs of cards to Orlando - they have apparently vanished! - she would be most grateful for their return so that they can be used for casual play at the Chicago gathering - anyone knowing the whereabouts of these cards should contact Logsman urgently - there might even be a reward for their capture!
